American Beautyberry, or Callicarpa Americana, is a plant that grows wild in the southeastern states of the USA.
The roots, leaves, and branches were used by various Native American tribes for medicinal purposes to treat malarial fevers and rheumatism. But, they used to also pick off the leaves of this plant and rub them on their skin to repel insects.
These Beautyberry leaves are grown and harvested right here on our farm located in Eustis, FL.

We have carefully extracted this age-old compound straight from the leaves of this incredible plant and bottled it into a powerful concentrate for you! …and a little bit goes a long way!
The only thing we add is a splash of lemongrass oil which is also 100% organic, naturally repels bugs itself, and has a very pleasant smell.
Our spray is specifically formulated to repel mosquitoes, but it can also be useful to help repel flies, yellow flies, chiggers, fleas, gnats, and ticks. Basically any “annoying” flying or biting insect you can think of!
